One day at Salcedo

I pushed hard for us to have one Saturday morning at the Salcedo market. I haven't gone there and wanted to experience this with my sisters and Anya, of course my own mini family with the boys - Azrael and Ashton.

We got overwhelmed with all the food displayed in endless stalls. Cotton candies, taho, and yogurt were also on wheels circling the market.

Before buying anything else, I promised Anya that we'll have some popsicles.

My sister Joni reunited with Taho

Joni and Liza ended up getting barbecues, I got a spinach lasagna. They also tried some takoyakis which were too hot to eat, I never got a taste of it. We then headed to the park for lunch.

Lots of tables and dining area, but I brought Anya to the playground first.

Here's Anya with Kuya Bernard "because he can push higher" than me.

And then we enjoyed lunch, Joni and Anya were so hot because they came from the bottom of the earth. Both were turning red already so we headed to Shangri-la mall.

I wish everyday was like this, going places and burning money.

Happy Birthday Mama and Liza

Double celebration and I feel that my weight is also doubling with all the food and birthday treats!

The two July celebrants really wanted a birthday with a bang. Liza, the food monster got the best spread of food on her birthday. We ordered everything from Amber, and Liza won't celebrate her birthday without a cake from Red Ribbon.

Mama enjoyed choosing kitchen wares as my gift for her in Podium. She also got a Michael Jackson DVD for us to enjoy on her big TV.

I wish that I have my mom's beauty, why does she look younger now and she has this glow on her skin. She also learned how to chat and use my laptop.

Long Day at the City

Today I woke up early to finally walk around the city by myself, or at least with my little sister Liza. Our travel mate and mama's BFF Nanay also arrived in the morning via Philippine Airlines. She was very energetic as usual without any signs of flight fatigue or jetlag. She pushed mama to come and join our walkathon.

In the end, all 5 of us trekked towards the Victoria State Library then to the shopping centers in the city. Joni, me, Liza, Mama, and Nanay. It was very cold but I bet all of us were itching to spend some.

At Bourke street, I found my little heaven of fashion. It's called Sportsgirl and at last, I now own a pair of those liquid latex tights.

Liza and I asked to be left while the others fetch Anya from school. The two of us went to 3 different shopping malls - Myer, David Jones, and Target. Next time we'll go back again to shop even more :D Now I am happy again.

With frozen faces and tired legs, Liza and I just had to grab a seat at Mcdonald's. I was also curious at how this fastfood branch would be different from the one in the Philippines. Everything here is self-service and you have to pay for ketchup. The burger also looks lonely.

That's all for now, we'll be flying to Sydney in a day or two to celebrate Anya's 6th birthday there.

Lace and Liza's Day Out

Yesterday I had a series of occasions to attend and one of them was Jollibee's official turnover of their 18 million donation to charities at the Manila Ocean Park. Liza, my not-so little sister anymore loves Jollibee like everybody else. Her class was not until 1pm meaning she could hop in with us to the function.

Here we are having fun at the photo booth during the event:

Liza says it's her first blog event and wants to keep the photo as her souvenir. sweet! Inside the Manila Ocean Park, we took several photos of ourselves. Two blogging sisters working it, we could only wish our big sister Joni was also there. We had so much fun and laughs watching Jollibee and kids who were very happy to receive help and their own Jollibee dolls :)

Doing my silly "flying" trick but this time I pretend to be "swimming"

With Azrael our photographer

It was our second time at the Manila Ocean Park but we had better photos now. Liza then decided to skip class and just drop by to claim a book or something at school heehee :) We had to part ways since I have another task at Rockwell.

Last night was the Adidas launch of the Stella McCartney collection, I got to see and touch the new items yey! If only I had extra money I'd get this jacket which I could use on my future trips.

Then I had to go early even before the fashion show started but I wish I had stayed or hopped to another fashionable occasion somewhere up north. Oohh I wish I have a plane or a clone so I can be everywhere!!!!
