Belo Open House at the Podium

Sire and Me at Cafe Breton

We had a great night at the Podium yesterday. Belo was having an Open House and we enjoyed dinner at Cafe Breton and all the beauty talk. Last night, it was all about beauty!

If there was an award for the most attentive guest, that would be me! I was all ears while Dr. Hayden showed what Belo can do for everyone, nothing is impossible. One day, every one on earth can be beautiful.

There was a special guest last night, a kid who was born with a large birth mark on her entire cheek. Dra. Vicki Belo helped her and now, the mark has disappeared and the child can shine at her brightest! You can just feel how happy and relieved the little girl was.

It's just a lesson that undergoing procedures or enhancements does not equate to vanity at all times, it's getting a shot to feeling wonderful, confident, and being able to shine like a star.

I tried the Bio Sculpt and you can read all about it at Style and Relax.

Mean, Sire, Me, and Mica

We had a night cap at Starbucks in Emerald Ave. and had ultra girl talk conversations. I love it :)

See you all later at the Clear Halloween Party!

Lessons from Johnny Bunko - a manga by Daniel H. Pink

I am not fond of reading Japanese manga, but Johnny Bunko, a manga by Daniel Pink was lying on the table and I just had to pick it up. It reads "The Last Career Guide You'll Ever Need" and I was instantly hooked.

This is not meant to spoil the content but the best thing I learned from Johnny Bunko is that THERE IS NO PLAN. I know that when humans plan, life laughs at us. The manga was right to say that there are too much variables in life that planning your life from point A to B is quiet useless. I agree.

I mean you can't predict if 5 years from now you'll be running your own business or become a home maker, maybe - you would have even invented something very clever and become a millionaire.

It just means that life is BIG, do what you love and all else will fall into place.

I highly recommend this book/manga, I even forced my Aunt Helen aka Yeyey to read it as well :)

Digital Filipino's Networking Night at PAGCOR

This is the best networking night that I have ever attended. Fun people, great food, love the wine and bloggers galore! :)

Digital Filipino presented the top 100 blogs in the Philippines and the top bloggers themselves shared their "secrets to success". If you have a blog and you are a Filipino, be sure to get ratified!

I was able to meet more bloggers like Lipstick Addict, Annalyn Jusay and Mommylicious, there are also business start ups like Profora. We were able to discuss different topics like the latest trends, our hobbies and background, etc.

Robert Reyes was also there with his wife and I enjoyed chatting with the couple very much, I forgot how much red wine I have consumed again.

During the night, some played Poker and the winner was Eric Chua who I also met at the lobby. In the hall, there are slot machines for everyone to play with.

Thank you so much to PAGCOR, I am starting to love this place. I recently watched Wanders here and we also had a fantabulous night.

See you all in the Halloween Party!

Yummy Bloggers Lunch at Bubba Gump

Forrest Gump at Bubba Gump

It was a fine Tuesday afternoon at Trinoma and we trooped to Bubba Gump to meet fellow bloggers and Forrest Gump.

Bubba Gump Trinoma

We enjoyed munching while chatting to Forrest who was very hospitable and accommodating, just like the entire Bubba Gump crew.

Thanks to Bubba Gump for the sumptuous lunch - these are the latest additions to their already exciting menu. My favorite is the Grilled Shrimp Salad with Garlic-Cilantro dressing, very green and healthy. Of course, their shrimps are all juicy and chewy.

The shrimps are the stars of the new Spicy Jambalaya Pasta - i love spicy! But I noticed some of the bloggers were already perspiring as they grub on this dish. It was so fun to have lunch at Bubba Gump!

Also, I didn't know that adding fresh strawberries to lemonade creates a very energizing and refreshing drinks. Thanks to Forrest, I was able to get two rounds of this drink.

The last thing we had is That Chocolate Thing which is also a good conversational piece. I'd definitely come back and have one all by myself. Yummy! I remember how my college friends and I munch our hearts away at Bubba Gump after hectic academic meetings and projects. We can't wait to have another fun day here!

Friends

It felt like a century of not seeing my friends and finally, we all got together to sit down and talk about our so-called lives! :)

We had different stories to tell, and it was great to know that all of us are doing well - traveling, doing things we love, and overcoming little hurdles. It was just like yesterday when all we cared about are grades and where to get lunch or hang out.

Dinner at Cafe Meditteranean, night cap at Laiya grill, few drinks called Good Trip and 50/50, overnight at Lian's place - it was so fun! Everyday it's like I am having the time of my life and now that my friends are here, it could only get better.

We missed Miki though who is in Las Vegas, we miss you so much Miki! :)

Note: the boys are the girl's respective boyfriends, Azrael missing - shopping.

Pantene Event at Taste Asia

Here's a 3 minute worth of blog post about last night's event at Taste Asia.

I couldn't wait to try the 3 minute miracle treatment of Pantene and last night, I finally did - with the help of Pantene's staff :) Even Judy Ann Santos, the product endorser joined the party!

It was an awesome night, food, booze, and bloggers are such a wonderful combination. Also, live music were provided by two different bands yesterday and they rock. Here's me with RJ Jimenez :)

Don't you wish you always have the perfect hair for events like these?

Thanks to Pantene for giving me another tube to try at home :)
