A Whole New World

and I am back to reality, this picture says it all. I enjoyed the week-long trip to Macau and Hongkong. All we had in mind was shopping and so we ended up with huge baggages that are bigger than me. I love the classy experience in Macau and the street fashion of Hongkong.

Of course, Disneyland was a dream come true! The fireworks behind the castle was moving and could bring you to tears. Disneyland is really the happiest place on earth :)

Ocean Park was thrilling, it was my first time to be upside down on a roller coaster.

I have a million photos and I have never felt so alive. The trip was awesome and we look forward to the next one :)

I'm Getting Outta Here!

Finally tomorrow is the day I get to fly away to a far far place and be at 300,000 feet above the ground once more. I used to dread flying but this time, I am so eager to get a break and spend ultra-family time.

Have to pack and get ready to hit 2 destinations: Macau and Hongkong, all the time I'll be with my adorable niece Anya :) We will play hidden mickey at Disneyland. Sisters and I are excited to go shopping, my mom will be tagging along with her bestfriend too. I guess everyone will have a happy time!

Also, tomorrow is the Philippine Blog Awards and Suzaku Lace is one of the finalists, weee!

Thank you for misplacing my name up there haha, being included in the finalists is already a pleasure. Thanks very much :)

Buhay Weekend

I love weekends because it's the time I can recuperate and spend loads of time with my family.

Photo of my mom inside our nipa hut garden while sipping Quickly

We can lounge around our nipa hut, take photos, and have fun with barbecue. This afternoon, my mom and I grilled hotdogs in the lanai.

I also prepared a tasty barbecue treat for everyone. Azrael grills with his shirt off which explains the absence of his photo x.x

I like cooking, I wish I can cook everyday for everybody. Tomorrow's breakfast is bacon and eggs because I ran out of hotdogs x.x

If I wake up early, I could prepare fried rice too :)

I wish that everyone is having a great weekend at home too! I am suppose to be in Tagaytay today but I'm saving money for next week so I passed :)

Nuffnang is Asia's first blog network and guess who I found on the homepage? It's Bryan Boy who's the featured Nuffnanger as we speak.

Also, since Nuffnang is now in the Philippines, you'll get to know Filipino bloggers who also enjoy being a nuffnanger :)

Harbor Square, Manila

Yesterday I had lunch at Harbor Square with a comic-artist friend ;)

Azrael and I both needed to catch some air as we haven't slept since the Oktoberfest party and we were very hungry and needed a decent lunch.

Harbor Square is picturesque, just ignore the smell of the bay - we hope someday it will return to its fresh state, oh well.

When I was working in Manila, I often visit this place and my peers and I have meetings here. The scene is great - different from all the buildings and traffic out there. Harbor Square is a good place where you can think, write, or draw.

There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. I tried Iceberg's tapsilog and Azrael loved their lechon kawali. Now I know they just don't make sumptuous halo-halo.

Next Saturday, I am planning a wifi lunch at Tagaytay (I'd reach that place at 3PM). I am excited to bring my laptop and surf the net inside a tree house. If you want to come, just send a nudge.

Oktoberfest Kick-Off Party - Sleepless!

All I can say is, Ortigas was never this fun!

San Miguel Oktoberfest in Ortigas

I am very happy that a busy street full of walking stressed and hectic employees has been transformed into a fiesta party place :D

I could feel the excitement of all people in Ortigas, talks about Oktoberfest can be heard inside elevators and outside, people are planning what time they will attend the San Miguel beer party-fest. Come 5PM, the vibe of Ortigas came alive, bands started playing and people started to come together.

This really is one unique experience and I feel bad for people who didn't join the party.

San Miguel Oktoberfest

I enjoyed Sugarfree's performance and also the beatles playing band called Bloomfields. They are so adorable! I felt like I was in the 60's or whichever decade Beatles was in, hehe.
Bloomfields in Oktoberfest San Miguel Beer

Third Eye Blind performed around 12 midnight and I was all sweat, water, and beer - their performance ended at around 1.30 in the morning. Loved it when they performed How's it Gonna Be x.x

I managed to arrive home at 3 in the morning, it really is one big fiesta - larger than life celebration. Thank you to San Miguel for making this happen!

Now I am also part of the Guiness Book Record for the longest bar ever :)

21 Days to Go

We are very excited and I cannot wait to stay in this hotel -

I am going to Macau in 21 days and in Hongkong in 23 days. I can't wait! Best of all, my mom will be coming along and my sisters and I can shop MORE :)

I will definitely see my niece Anya and we can go to Disneyland together, finally!
