June must be the toughest month of the year for me. Seriously, I needed to go out everyday until I burned my wallet. My remaining bills are gone now ahaha and I just had to stay at home today.
I wanted to blog but don't have anything much to say except that I enjoyed Confessions of a Shopaholic again on DVD. This time, with my sister. I am pretty excited for something I won't mention because it might get jinxed. But I hope everything goes well on Tuesday. At least, I would have something else to focus on and spend my time into.
Last night, I got to see Pussy Cat Dolls live here in Manila. Or should I say, live on the projector screen as I was too far away to even see the shadows of Nicole. Yet, I enjoyed every beat and words of their songs. I might have looked stupid dancing miles away from the stage but I just had to shook it off :)
The best part for me is when Nicole said, "ladies... you don't need a man to be happy. It is only when you are happy with yourself, that you can be happy with someone else".

I Shook it Off with Gary V at Eastwood City
It was Friday and I was exhausted from the week that was, but I just could not resist another trip to Eastwood City where Gary V would be performing on stage.
I have seen Gary V a million times - on TV, but I was amazed and shocked and so "bilib" when I finally got to see him perform live! He is a living miracle and is overflowing with talent, his voice is enchanting and full of charisma, and his dance moves are like magic! Does he have real bones? x.x
The event was a real pick me upper, Gary V is entertaining and inspiring at the same time. It was a perfect evening that melted away all the stress. During the concert, I could not help but notice the lighting system - when Gary V sang "Take me out of the Dark" I felt as if I was in heaven! well, I wished - but thank you Gary V for reminding us that the Lord will not give us something we can't bear, Amen.
His performance of my favorite song "How Did you Know" (from the movie of Aga and Kristine Hermosa heehee :) was also great, hearts were all over the place and it matched the cozy atmosphere of the venue.
Gary V's concert in Eastwood City, Libis felt like a private function where he was able to get near the audience and wow, he was just in front of me singing "Because of You", this can only be achieved in an intimate venue like Eastwood City. Every person in the audience had smiles on their faces, old and young people were cheering for Gary V. An old couple in front of me heartily waved good-bye and everyone was happy and re-energized after the concert.
Thank you very much to Eastwood City, me and my friends had a great time!

Maroon 5 Coming to Manila - March 2008
Maroon 5's words in their new album are piercing to the point - accurately and realistically written heartbreak songs. The album itself seems to give listeners a tour of what love is, infatuation, excitement, disappointment, and growing apart. Love may suck but Maroon 5 makes it sound good.
On March 5, 2008 the group will be performing at the Araneta Coliseum. It's happening on a Wednesday at 8:00 pm. I am not sure if tickets are already on sale but I am sure to buy the seat somewhere near the front. They're coming soon so if you want to watch, better start saving some concert money.
Here's Maroon 5, they're too fantastic they can sing sitting down.
