Spa and Coffee

Hours to go before flying and in a short span of time, I can feel stress nodules on my back again. It's called "lamig" in Filipino. Apparently, toxins are released and stored in the lymph nodes of the back when one is stressed or anxious. It makes part of the back tender and you can either have a stiff neck or a stiff back. I had both.

After chatting with my sister Joni, I left to meet Azrael in Galleria where he had a meeting. I could not help but pass by one of my favorite massage parlor called Excelsior. I love their massage because they make your neck pop like a firecracker. I love hearing my bones pop and I imagine them falling back into their original places :) I was not disappointed earlier and was very satisfied with the service. I had the combination massage of shiatsu and swedish. I felt the nodules were plenty moving around on my back and I swear there are still some left.

I left Robinson's Galleria refreshed with a softer back and the stiffness has disappeared. Then off we walked to Metrowalk - I always find it very far. One has to walk very long and cross different streets to get there. It's hard to get a cab in Ortigas area, taxis are like celebrities. Since I am so relaxed, my bangs took a back seat



Starbucks was filled with some bloggers and my sister's BFF Zarah was there whom I was suppose to meet. She had packages for me to bring later to the airport. It's a gift for Anya and my sister.



Then we had a long chat with Janette Toral as usual. I enjoy talking with her because I learn a lot of new things about the Internet and business.

I am tempted to organize another activity with all the opportunities now. However, I think I better enjoy this vacation first.

May the clouds disappear later and may I fly safely and prevent myself from hyperventilating. I plan not to sleep so I get knocked out on the plane. Yet, I'm now very sleepy x.x

Eating and Trotting before Leaving

Well, it's just days to go before I leave Manila. I am excited and terrified at the same time. I hope my airplane would be the friendly kind. I've been "practicing" sitting on a plane inside the bus - weird. Traveling is one of the greatest things you can do except the flying part T_T

I made the most out of this week though. I'll miss the blogging scene for a month and all the craziness of our daily schedule.

Krispy Kreme Donut Shortage in Megamall

At Krispy Kreme Megamall today, donuts were running out of stock at around 8.00PM. I went there with Azrael to eat some Chocolate Karnival donuts but it seems that many are also addicted to it now! :)

Yes, I get silly sometimes too! :p Look at how serious and affected I look because of a shortage in donuts x.x

People lined up and wished that they get the 5 remaining Chocolate Glazed donuts until the man in front of me bought them all. People behind me said "awww" in chorus. Only original glazed donuts were now available. The staff said that they are also experiencing sold out Chocolate Karnival donuts in other branches. I even planned to go to Mall of Asia Krispy Kreme just to eat them chocolate covered goodies.



Then I asked the waiter if more donuts will arrive soon as the manager seems to be on the phone talking to other branches. The staff said that donuts won't make it on time and that they did not expect this many people to be craving for Krispy Kreme on a Holy Week. I kept on peeking inside the donut factory to find out if donuts have arrived or are being baked. And looks like the manager noticed! He went up to me and said there are still some remaining donuts and he wants me to bring them home, for FREE! yey!

Thank you Krispy Kreme, you never fail to make a little girl happy *mwah*

Hello! Mabuhay! Finally I have the energy to write over here at my personal blog. StyleandRelax.net is becoming more promising each day. I've just made 2 advertising deals and more businesses are trying to get in touch. Some want to be featured, reviewed, or just make friends which is great! :) Now I have a spark of hope that maybe, I can do what I love forever... hopefully so.


Working with Tough Jeans

Today I visited Tough Jeans and had fun dressing up the staff, taking photos, telling people how to pose, and interviewing Joy the store manager. We moved around things and clothes all over the store, everyone was energetic. Who wouldn't be excited with their stylish inventory of jeans? I want all the pairs of Tough Jeans in the world.


FitFlops Mallxercise

Weeks before that I found myself trying out FitFlops which I am now addicted on. I can't wait to get my own pair of Aurelia Gladiator Fitflops, I hope there's a pair available in Australia or maybe in the US.



Then here I am resting with a Mojito, thank you T.G.I Friday's! They have a promo now that will give you more excuses to party on a weekday.


Bio Essence Serenity Spa

My mini project with beauty bloggers at Bio Essence was also a success. This is the first time StyleandRelax.net partnered with a spa to have services reviewed by a group of bloggers. Everyone went home pampered with diamond peels, massages, and facials. I'm planning more activities and hope that they also push through :D

Liza is also on vacation so we have more fun together outside and at home. Look at our silly Krispy Kreme photo:
