Anya was very brave at her surgery yesterday. She underwent Tenotomy on one of her legs at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Here she is before the surgery with Kiko.
Here is Anya taking a stroll after the surgery.
We are very proud of you Anya! 3 smiley stars for you :)

Thank you Jollibee for my new LCD TV :)
Last night was a big surprise for me at the Jollibee Food Corporations party for the press and media. I was quietly watching the program and then my name was called. I won the grand prize of the party! A 32 inch Sony Bravia LCD TV.
I could not believe it but I rushed to the front and waved like Ms. Universe approaching my wonderful prize.
I love you Jollibee! :)

Midnight Baking
So tonight I baked quick sugar cookies for me to enjoy with a cup of coffee. Who says breakfast is not 24/7 anyway.
Tonight/early morning, I'd be reading my fave blogs like Copyblogger and maybe Brian Clark will inspire me to develop a quality post for my other blogs. Style and Relax was approved by Project Wonderful today and I got in a book event which would also help me develop a nice post for my budding readers :D I also created a short video blog entry for a contest and online voting would start soon.
Cheers!

Salon and Drinks
I'll talk about the salon experience at Style and Relax soon.
Mariel treated me to coffee and we met her friend Ica for dinner and drinks. I loved walking along Tomas Morato, we spotted clothes shoppes, cheap dining joints and restaurants with dessert specialties.
I had a great time and chat with the ladies, 'til next time when my hermit phase is over :)

Fudge and Tikoy
This month's issue of Fudge magazine was lying on the table, with it's cute Madagascar cover, who wouldn't take a browse? And then I caught myself reading Fudge cover to cover, for 3 hours. Yes! A good read indeed.
I enjoyed reading about the plight of graveyard shift employees, issues on self image and on how a nude beach in Spain can give you realizations on self. Before I hit the last pages, I feasted on insightful and true to the bone book and movie reviews.
Fudge, you made my day :)
In between pages, I prepared this sticky and sweet Tikoy.

Secret Santa Cookies and other treats
Headed over to Delifrance to get my Christmas Treat :)
Almond cookies! Delicious, sweet with minty lemon-y flavor. Thank you!
The event I was to attend had gone missing (weird) and I ended up just eating at Sbarro's. Went home with zero purchase except for the Banana cake bar of Red Ribbon, 2 pints of ice cream for Mama and ice cream cake to share.
Fats! gotta burn 'em all.

Spying Over Burn After Reading
Usually, I end up watching kiddie, sci-fi and other geeky movies that my partner loves. With George and Brad in their latest movie, Burn After Reading, I can finally see a movie that would meet my expectations again just like Ocean's Eleven. Brains plus sexy men makes a good plot!
The first time I saw their movie poster was last Monday when I watched Madagascar 2. I'm really surprised that this duo stars in a new flick. Would they be seamless on screen or would they compete for the spotlight the entire movie?
That's for us to find out! :)

The New Weekdays
On the same Monday (the day I used to dread the most), I had 77 photos of our travel printed, went with Yeyey to get her hair cut, watched Madagascar 2 with Azrael, and enjoyed a Japanese dinner at home prepared by Mama. I also have time to prettify my little sister Liza but failed to help her with the report x.x
Liza is learning to appreciate wine and we had fun one night exploring our mini bar.
Today, I picked up a new watch for myself, went to the dermatologist, enjoyed snacks at McDonald's in the afternoon, ran like crazy from the rain with Azrael, and now I am blogging at 1 in the morning while eating Zitti. Tomorrow I'll be taking care of our Christmas giveaways and I should start searching for a wall clock for the shop and Lolo's house.
I can do everything at my own pace, relaxed, at home and with the people I love most.
I am thankful.

Shopping Day
Our first destination was Meisic, the new shopping mall in front of 168. It doesn't look new at all, it's just that now, sellers occupy the building just like 168. It's relaxing here because there are less people, you can dance on the hallway if you like. We grabbed lunch here and the food was delicious + cheap = perfect!
Next, we went to 168 where everybody is. There are plenty of people but this is not as bad as shopping here during Christmas. We could still walk and shop without anyone pushing us forward :)
I found nice items at 168, you can read about it here.
Nanay and Mama bought hot and fresh chestnuts, dropped by Eng Bee Tin to buy hopia, siomai, and Chinese Sausages, while I stayed in the car.
Dinner was at our becoming favorite Japanese joint, Tempura Grill. The Sake Sashimi or Salmon Sashimi is still perfect.
The day was so great we relived our shopping moments in Macau and Hongkong. We missed Anya and Ate Joni though :) I'll see you all soon! ^^

Halloween Party
After some minutes of walking in the dark, I finally found Sire - my drinking buddy and wine connoisseur. I also met Edward, Mean, Sharmaine, and Joyce.
We walked to Lifestyle Cafe and I am so happy to be with these smart people. I loved the conversations about our travels and how traveling brings about epiphany. The cafe americano and brownies at Lifestyle Cafe are wonderful too.
