If Fashion Magazines are edible...

I would eat them!:D I just bought Mega's February issue and i liked what i read inside. All about the latest trends in and out of the country and not the usual fads. Too bad that Preview has no February issue. I am tempted to buy Vogue every month but it costs around Php550 and it's mostly made up of advertisements. maybe next time when i have money to throw away. If you want to save, you can check out Style.com and Vogue's website for some free articles and fashion news and photos fresh from the runway.

Consequentially, i am now itching to find the cheaper alternative to the ensembles i saw on those glossies. Greenhills is far from home but i hope i can go there this weekend : )

And speaking of edible... did you know that i just swallowed a spoonful of tabasco sauce for 1,000 pesos? computer addict gave me a dare last wednesday and 1,000 pesos sounds good to me. i was scared after i gulped it down! it was really hot and i feel that my stomach was burning and my eyes were zooming in like a camera lens. but after awhile, it was gone and i am back to normal, 1,000 pesos richer.

and if there are decent glam fashion magazines there are nasty, cheap, and trashy MEN magazines. AND i just saw one after my dinner because computer addict showed me. it's not FHM or Maxim because at least they have sensible articles and news and they have a software called PHOTOSHOP. this one, if it was edible i'd feed it to the rats.

I can't wait

I am now listening to Bitch Goddess' podcast and it's starting to uplift my spirit. there are a lot of things that i can't wait for. Like one, my new job on Monday and second, I can't wait any longer for my boyfriend to get off the computer and I give up. Perhaps I should learn to play alone (not meant to sound dirty). I resigned from my previous job because i was tired and wanted to spend a LOT of time at home with my family including computer addict. However, i think i should look the other way.

My inner-self is now shouting "I need a playmate!". Or i should just keep myself busy hence, new job. I wish i meet a lot of new people and i wish that i'll be thrown thousands of paperwork or all the work there is. then, i dont have time to think about whoever. "There's no one you can count on but yourself" says Vanessa Williams in Ugly Betty. I think i should swallow that.

Anyway, i got Sex and the City DVDs and also Ugly Betty : ) I watched all that as I was hoping someone would KEEP A PROMISE. I wish there is a training school where we can be taught on how to live with yourself or how to get married to your job and how to treat men like they treat women.

Valentine's Day is SOON, so before it becomes something that I'd be frustrated about... I'm going to reserve a spot in a spa somewhere and confess my love to myself hahaha : ) then MY BIRTHDAY is also SOON. I wish i'd be happier by then! make me!

Amanda and Daniel

Too much of Ugly Betty and now I am posting about my dream loveteam. Amanda is the slim and fashionable assistant who sleeps with Daniel and Daniel sleeps with anything that moves. *SPOILER* In episode 5, i felt real bad for Amanda because she really likes Daniel and deep inside, she is patiently waiting for him to stop screwing around. But the two of them are only F-buddies and Daniel doesn't know how Amanda really feels. awwwww. Amanda can be a bitch to Betty sometimes but I think she and Daniel are made for each other! i hope they end up together and just now, Amanda told Daniel she had it and i hope that Daniel realizes his mistakes. : )

I'm counting 5 days before i report to work again and tomorrow is my dental appointment. still working on the root canal to save my molar. then after that, i plan to do a bit of bargain shopping. wish me luck!

i'll also try to buy the complete dvd set of Sex and the City, it might shed some light to my life ahahaha. Samantha (of sex and the city) once said "if you're looking for a relationship, you can bang your head on the wall so just have a lot of sex like a man would do." well, something like that : )

Pretty Woman and new job *grin*

Everyday I sleep at 2am so last night i got lucky to have something to watch on TV. Pretty Woman was being shown in one of the local channels. I used to watch this with my sister Joni, but i wasn't that old yet and didn't pay much attention but i did get the story.

Last night, i savored each line, cheesy but dreamy. you know, this stuff happens only in movies and sometimes, it feels nice to submerge yourself in this fantasy where Julia Roberts is a hooker and Richard Gere billionaire saves her and turns her life around. ahhhhh... happy valentines! i was eating ice cream while it was being shown and i love the experience. me and myself only, dreaming and hoping i can be Vivienne in that movie ahahaha. Pretty Woman is such an unbelievably romantic flick but after the movie you feel bad because it's not real.

I am in PMS hell last night too and slept at 4.30 in the morning. But yin yang again, i finally got a call today and yey! i have a new job ^____^ i almost fainted when i answered my cellphone while i was watching Ugly Betty. now i am excited, nervous, and scared --->

so there, i hope everyone gets a good night and enjoy the rest of today ^.^ i'm now downloading MORE ugly betty episodes and have a marathon with icecream again.

Visit to MCO and Ugly Betty

I missed my MCO friends and all of them were present yesterday except for Ate Mean. I was to get my last salary after a very long process of clearance and accounting stuff. So i was there, and i had fun while waiting for azrael. i miss the place so much, the aircon, the internet, my cubiclemate Chong and hollywood gossip. I'm quite happy to see them not so harassed and stressed with work.

That same day, sir chong revealed to me Ugly Betty! and at first i was thinking Betty La Fea sitcom style series but behold, when i saw the first scenes The Devil Wears Prada came to my mind. Ugly Betty who won in the Golden Globes want to work in a magazine just like me! oh well. then she said "Magazine is my passion"... i was all smiles on my seat as all of us peeked at the monitor. Now i am trying to get the other episodes and i hope i do! with my crappy broadband.

then azrael popped up and off we went to his meeting. before that he treated me to Bacolod Chicken and i remembered my trip to Bacolod with sir chong... it was not so fun but now, i miss it and think it was a great experience after all.

Since it's the start of February, new magazines are out! so i got myself the new Cosmopolitan with Paris Hilton on the cover and Marie Claire. i read these magazines while azrael was having his meeting. Today he is out and i decided to stay home after the taxi ride yesterday along edsa. it was terrible!

that's it for now. i miss everybody and i am getting lonelier each day. they say its because im just bored and have no work. so now i am trying to find a nice new job but im still enjoying waking up late : )

Back to Grey's Anatomy

Yey! i am finally able to catch up with Season 3 of Grey's Anatomy. I just watched episode 13 and i can't wait for the next episodes... Meredith and Derek are getting sweeter each day (this is a fictional world after all) and i missed all the surgeons last month. i wish there is a new episode each day.
